I've bought quite a few blanket hoodies both for myself and as gifts. They've always been truly oversized, soft, comfortable, pretty, and warm. I never thought I'd ever purchase a blanket hoodie I wouldn't like - until now.
The blanket fabric these blanket hoodies are made of look and feel scruffy out of the vacuum-sealed bag unlike others, and are not as soft. The printed design (in my case kittens) is not clean and sharp at all. Looks like an out-of-focus photo! There was a lot of shedding going on, but in the form of black flecks thruout on the right side of the fabric - and this was not a part of the design. They would come off with a brush of the hand and even got in my eyes when I tried the hoodie on - irritating one of them for some time after. And when I tried this blanket hoodie on, it was tighter around than what I'd become accustomed to with all the other blanket hoodies I've worn before. You know, blanket hoodies that were truly "oversized". I was surprised even tho I had gone over the measurements before ordering. It is also shorter (this was adult-sized, not child-sized).
So, if this is your first purchase of a blanket hoodie or even your tenth, I would not recommend it! There are much better blanket hoodies out there. I will not be purchasing this particular blanket hoodie again since it's not been a very good purchasing experience for me.
I don't usually leave reviews - but I wanted to do so this time so that those who have never purchased a blanket hoodie before could avoid a very poor first impression. Better blanket hoodies are worth moving on to - they are cozy, soft, and warm, and you'll be happy you made the purchase (I love the Three Poodles brand but they are a bit more $$)!
